A leakster, who has accurately revealed the news in the past, uploaded it on Twitter yesterday, claiming to be a close-up photo of the iPhone 15 Pro. A small portion of the creation can be seen on the bottom of the device. @URedditor asserted that what he uploaded was not a concept drawing or a computer design drawing, but a close-up photo of the genuine iPhone 15 Pro.
Another whistleblower @ianzelbo released the computer design drawing yesterday, showing the location and design of the USB-C at the bottom of the iPhone 15. Soon after, @URedditor uploaded photos in response. There is not much information that can be obtained from this spy photo. We can see the USB Type-C interface of the iPhone 15 Pro, with a screw on the left and right sides and several speaker grilles. In addition, the edge curvature of the bottom of the phone also looks different from that of the iPhone 14 Pro, which seems to confirm the earlier rumors that Apple will adopt a round-edged body design.
It has long been heard that Apple intends to switch to the USB-C interface in the iPhone 15 series. This is because the new EU law mandates that all electronic products such as mobile phones sold locally must provide a unified USB-C charging solution, forcing Apple to abandon its Lightning interface.
