The iPad Pro is rumored to be updated with Samsung and LG hybrid OLED panels

According to the 2022 tablet market report published by the research institute IDC, Apple has achieved a market share of 38%. The launch of new iPad products and the adoption of new technologies will have an impact on the tablet market. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is currently the only tablet with a mini-LED display, while the 11-inch iPad Pro uses the same LED panel as the iPad Air (2022).

The iPad Pro is rumored to be updated

Korean news website ETNews recently reported that the iPad Pro will be updated in 2024 and will use OLED technology. Another website, SamMobile, refers to two suppliers, Samsung Display and LG Display, which are already preparing for large-scale production. It is reported that the next-generation iPad Pro will use a Hybrid OLED panel, which is not susceptible to shrinkage and distortion. It is believed that this is why Apple uses a mini-LED screen on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

According to reports, in addition to switching to a hybrid OLED panel, the screen of the new iPad Pro released next year will be slightly increased by 0.1 inches, from 11 and 12.9 inches to 11.1 and 13 inches. Mark Gurman, the author of “Bloomberg”, said in his column that the new iPad Pro launched next year will have a body design change, such as a narrower frame, and the Apple logo on the back of the device has a better chance of adding MagSafe wireless charging.
