Apple Watch Series X to be released next year, screen size increased by 10%

Xie Qinyi, an analyst at the research firm Omdia, recently wrote an article that Apple plans to release two new Apple Watches in 2024, namely Apple Watch Series X and Apple Watch SE (third generation).

Xie Qinyi mentioned in his article that Apple Watch Series X will have 1.89 and 2.04-inch screen options, which are 5% to 10% larger than the current Apple Watch Series 8 on sale. Since Apple skipped the iPhone 9 and named the iPhone X with the Roman numeral “X”, He also called the tenth-generation Apple Watch the Apple Watch Series X.

The Apple Watch SE (third generation), is expected to use the same screen and narrow frame as the Series 8, and also provide 41mm and 45mm case sizes, which is 1mm larger than the SE (second generation) currently on sale.
