According to a report from the Financial Times, Apple has recently been recruiting employees in India, including physical store managers, senior managers, etc., and their work locations are distributed in various places in India, including Mumbai, New Delhi, etc. Most of the positions are related to the business of retail stores. The report also mentioned that Apple is expected to open its Indian flagship store in Mumbai in March this year, with an area of 22,000 square feet.

Apple will also cooperate with Infiniti Retail, a subsidiary of India’s Tata Group (TaTa), to explore opening about 100 small physical stores in its many high-end shopping malls and commercial streets. Apple has been actively exploring the Indian market in recent years, and its sales performance is also good.

According to a report by Cybermedia Research (CMR), iPhone sales in India from July to September last year increased by 44% compared with the previous quarter, that is, more than 1.7 million iPhones were sold in India during the summer. In addition, Apple also announced in September last year that it would start assembling the iPhone 14 in India. It is believed that India will be one of Apple’s next important markets.
